"An Ornament of Grace"
Young Ladies' Retreat
March 15-16, 2013
Mrs. Hamilton opened up her home to have the retreat in there. The focus of the two days was to seek the Lord in how we are to honor our parents. Many of the things I had heard before, but the Lord showed me some areas of my own life that I was still being resistant towards my authorities. But Praise God for his unfailing victory that is always awaiting for us just to claim it!
Hanna with her favorite ingredient!
Ariel sprinkling on bacon bits!
While everyone was waiting for the pizza to bake, the girl got a game of Mad Gab started! It was a blast just listening to them try to say the words that were on the cards!
L to R front row: Hailey, Jessica, Paige.
Mrs. Hamilton had a blast at figuring out different ways to send people through the line like: oldest to youngest, tallest to shortest (I was the shortest person there!), and so on...
Kirsten was the baby magnet for the weekend!
She is so good with little ones like Cody!
Josephine acting serious!
I said not another picture!
Throughout the whole weekend the girls were put on a on going scavenger hunt for a candy bar that was hidden in the house! It took the girls the whole time to find it, and it was really hard to say anything because I helped I the candy bar! I did have fun sending the girls on bunny trails and giving clues of where it was not at! Finally we had to give them a clue and another one until they found it!
Now on a more serious note!
Session 1 "An Ornament of Grace"
Mrs. Hamilton was talking to us about how the Lord will honour those who honor there parents. The Lord will bless those who choose to obey His Word through obeying their parents. The Lord gives us peace in honoring our parents. Some of her points were:

II. Graciousness and Favor
III. Long Life and Health
IV. Peace
These points were all based on Proverbs 1: 1-33

The Teen girls having a blast playing ping pong and Round Robin!
The final session before we all departed for our homes!
